Mike

This movie is a bit ridiculous, and it's a bit obvious for me to tell you to watch it but I think it'll help you become passionate about the subject. I don't believe you need to travel to Detroit to find what you are looking for, but this is the story of why Jane mentioned you should go there for the project.

An image for you to look at for the tea cup stacking. (not to use, just to look at)

for mike, but perhaps of interest to others (tara d?)

Hey so here is something for you to check it. Its a project called feral houses. I know its not cars but hear it out and maybe think about it. Its houses in detroit (ahaha! gm head quarters) that have become vacant and abandoned (very car dealership like) by the down turn economy. and then becoming rewilded by nature. The pictures are sweet, probably more my thing than yours but i thought it could be interesting to think about.....!

For Everyone

I can't remember what class we were talking about the garbage patch in the Pacific Ocean, but this is interesting. Morbid and depressing, but interesting.

For Chris

I loved this image and thought you might too. Its by Bob Stevens. I couldn't find anything on his website that was like this or even this image (i saw this on a blog) I wonder if this image is in the printing. maybe your printing could emphasize the presence, or oneness with nature? just a thought

For Kate

Hey kate here's a link for you to check out. these images are a bit more photographic than yours, but i thought there was some interesting interplay between the illustration and photograph. One of them even has part of the drawing from the river picture you made!

this is from a different series of hers but its like the staircase picture you made sort of! hehe
